Encalado, the Illinois Supreme Court reversed the appellate court and ruled in favor of the trial judge’s decision denying the defense request of the court to ask the potential jurors during voir dire whether the evidence they would hear about the defendant’s solicitation of prostitutes would keep them from being fair to either side.
